Of Montreal to visit the Ogden

Of Montreal released fall tour dates, including a visit to the Ogden on 11-17. Given their reputation as a super awesome live band, I think it would be a mistake to miss this show, but there is no accounting for weather in November between Laramie and Denver.

The quiet of the past week offered a perfect chance to revisit the year's albums and think about what really stands out after repeated listens. That and it was time to make our semi-annual mixed cd to distribute while watching friends light fireworks.

New PJ Harvey Album in September

My heart goes pitter pat at the news... NME reports today that PJ Harvey's newest album White Chalk will drop September 24th.

Oh please let this mean a U.S. tour to coincide with album release. Please.
